Terms of Use
Last updated October 7, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and TutorBreak about using the TutorBreak website and apps. By creating an account or using TutorBreak you agree to them.
Who may use TutorBreak
You must be 18 or older to hold an account. A parent or legal guardian may set up an account for a learner and agrees to these terms on the learner's behalf and is responsible for the learner's use. Please read the Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled.
Your account
- You sign in with a sign-in service you choose. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give us accurate information, and do not share an account between different families or use someone else's account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Account. Deleting it removes your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
What TutorBreak is, and is not
TutorBreak is an AI tutor. It can explain things, set practice and make activities, but it can be wrong, out of date or unclear. Check anything important with a teacher, a textbook or another reliable source before you rely on it.
TutorBreak is not a teacher, school or counsellor, and it does not give medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. If you or someone else is in danger or needs urgent help, contact local emergency services or a trusted adult. We do not promise any particular grade, score or learning result.
Using TutorBreak responsibly
You agree not to:
- break the law, or use TutorBreak to harass, threaten, exploit or harm anyone, especially a child;
- upload or ask for content you have no right to use, or that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or dangerous;
- try to get around usage limits, access another person's account or information, probe or attack our systems, or copy TutorBreak's content or software in bulk (including by automated means);
- use TutorBreak to cheat in a way that breaks your school's rules, or to make the tutor produce harmful material; or
- reverse engineer or resell TutorBreak.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you type, say, draw and upload. You give us permission to store it and to send it to the providers described in the Privacy Policy, only so we can run TutorBreak for you. Replies and materials the tutor creates for you may be similar to what it creates for others.
Our content
TutorBreak, its software, tutors, design, text and brand belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use TutorBreak for your own learning in line with these terms.
Plans and usage limits
TutorBreak is free to use for now, with limits on how much you can use it (for example a daily message limit and a limit on searches in a session). We may change the limits, and we may add paid plans or paid add-ons. The price, what is included and how to cancel will be shown before you buy. If you buy through the App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms and its purchase, billing and refund rules also apply; deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it where you bought it.
Other companies' services
TutorBreak relies on services from other companies, and it links to or shows material from public sources. We are not responsible for services or sites we do not run. If you got TutorBreak from the App Store or Google Play, that store's standard terms also apply to your use of the app.
Changes and availability
We work to keep TutorBreak available, but it may be interrupted, change or stop, and features may be added or removed. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and if you keep using TutorBreak after a change you accept the new terms.
Ending your use
You can stop using TutorBreak and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts people or the service at risk.
No warranty and limit of liability
TutorBreak is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited, or liability that cannot be excluded.
